This reminds me of Tesco and Giant practice last time. When they overcharge you at the counter while the display price is lower at the shelves.
To claim back the money, you have to go to the CS, fill in the form with your name, ic number, phone number, home address then provide IC for them to photocopy. It is like you are trying to steal their money.

He is right though... planes can't fly at those previously cheap prices. It's just being subsidized one way or another, like Uber/Grab in it's initial year.

Uber/Grab price increase bcos Govt change the rules and impose all sorts of taxes, licenses and conditions. (Basically to protect the lazy taxi buggers)

Air Asia please drop your reference as low-cost carrier and call yourself normal (or worse than normal) carrier. Don't hoodwink the customers with your fake positioning.

Unnecessary costs add up. Like special licenses, cannot use personal vehicles, minimum fares charges etc

Before "everyone can(not) get a refund" happened, I never thought I'd consider MAS for local flights again

Now have even better excuse for my company to fly MAS.

Last time need to justify why take Mas instead of AA due to price difference. Every single time I take AA sure got delay or reschedule. Until berdebar debar wait.

I tot many people already said want to boycott AA come rain or shine. But the fact that AA still got many people continued complain, means they still got many customers. Coz only the customer will keep complaining.

AA price high also complained, sked cant afford AA?

The entire Uber/Grab operation cost are subsidized by the investor during the incubation period. Apart from what gov charges, they also increase the price because they need to make profit.

A simple calculation would tell you their operations is not profitable when you are only paying like RM2 for a short ride which the driver also gets RM2.
