From my experience, YES only if they want something from you. You will feel that friendship, compassion, blah blah. But once something goes wrong, like you accidentally stepped on their foot, you will know how far that humbleness is.

I would rather deal with harsh rich people. Rich people they just has to act kind and humble in front of other people, cause at the back they will let their money to do the dirty job for them. While the poor people on the other hand, they have nothing to loose, thus they are the fiercest.
