So this highlighted statement of yours had memories come flooding back coz I did the same exact thing. Eventually it came to a point where she started sleeping with a friend and even then I still clung on, refusing to 'lose' to the other jerk, until one day she delivered the coup de grace which devastated me and left me teetering on the edge.
