Some things can update number online, some things have to go to the office. Depends on the sitution

If the number still available (I.e. in the pool) just go to um branch register cheapest postpaid on UM with whoever (family or friend) in MY save the number first lor.

the terminated prepaid msisdn will be recycled after a week or so, then pre-activated for next bundle batch of starter packs and release into the market

Next time, try to do the top up yourself online or apps. But still register the number with your family member, in case you need SIM card replacement and they can do it for you.
