Yup, but on 3.40, most of the game need UMD.
For me, the best firmware for psp phat is v3.52 M33-4.

Hi to all,i'm using fat psp on firmware 3.71M33-2 but not sure is 1.5kernel V2 or not( how to check and update it?).I found few games like Juice2,Fifa 2008,NBA2008,Death Head Fred.....cant be play.It blink with black screen for few second and msg "the game could not be started(80020148)" appear.I try everything most ppl advice but still the same,can anyone HELP,please?

setting on recovery menu(configuration/advance) in my psp :

-All set to "Disable" except vsh menu
-3.71 kernel
-sony 9660/M33 or even normal(with UMD)
-oledi deleted "config.se" on flash1
-oledi reset and format flash1 from recovery menu
-oledi format MS and insert the same games still cant

Try get the clean iso with the exact file hash.
Some iso u downloaded might be corrupted.
Try use another mspd as well.
Scandisk and defrag ur mspd in windows.

hi, i got to know that psp slim in japan cost roughly rm600 after conversion. is japanese version compatible with the games sold in malaysia? How about other features? what is version sold in malaysia? US or Japan?

anyone tried playing a backed up game file size above 1.5 gb(ie;fifa 08/daxter/etc) on a 2gb stick?
does it lag during gameplay(fifa 08)
does the movies lag?(daxter)

i tried playing my backups on a 4gb stick,and they lag during the times stated above

No problem with FFCC7 iso 1.6GB++ and cso lvl9 1GB++.
No both file no lag on cimpatible 2GB mspd.
No lag too, on ori 4GB mspd.
But on compatible 4GB mspd, the cso version of the file will lag lag a bit bit...

do you have Daxter?

i remember i played daxtor not too long ago, everything was smooth, but the psp went freeze after the first save.

to use 4 GB smoothly, always format it in the PC, using command prompt to format it to FAT, if format using PSP it will become FAT32 --> the cause of many many lagging.
