if you have phat psp there is no skype for you

Sadly ... i dun use cfw 3.90. I only use ofw 3.90. Guess im going original all the way. Hope im not the only one doing this.

Yea...sure u're not the only one...but cfw doesnt mean piracy even though lots of ppl using it for the wrong way. For example, u. Why wait for jap skype when u can get it on cfw. Just an example...no need to answer it.

Im just afraid of my PSP become brick lor .. better save than sorry.

The risk of updating ofw is same with cfw. Mean...they have the same risk of being brick.

no.psp doesnt have on-board GPS.but PSP do have external GPS just like chotto camera.there's a thread bout GPS in PSP here.

anyway i might getting a new PSP this weekend, so can anyone here please tell me what i need to watch out when choosing my PSP? as far as i know the latest firmware is something like 3.90 M33-5 is it? how to check ori battery and memory stick? and how to check dead pixel? my friend asked to download wallpaper and bring there to check whether got dead pixel or not, so may i know what kind of wallpaper is it? any recommendation?

dead pixel? aiyaa.. most now psp hardly get dead pixel.technology improved.dead pixel is u need to watch closely with ur eyes.pixel by pixel lah.aiyaaa... no software can detect dead pixel.a wallpaper is just help to find it easily.any plain color wallpaper would do.black,white,green,red,blue.. several of this can help.
latest firmware is 3.90 m33. ori battery? dunno.
ori mspd? hahaha... pay more,get ori mspd.how to check? at XMB,go to any icon, music/photo/games.. scroll to memory card,press triangle,select info.if magicgate supported,it's ori.if unknown,it's fake.dont mad at shop coz they give fake mspd,just ask for ori mspd,and they will give to u.of course pay more lah.

just updated my firmware 3.90m33-2

its just a plugin.
copy the seplugins folder to the ms root.
seplugins folder must have
- recovery.prx
- vsh.txt (ms:/seplugins/recovery.prx)

then enable it on the recovery menu/advance


and your done:
press R button + note button = will appear the menu via xmb
