I am NOT a happy owner of P750

after using it for about a month ... my conclusion ..is  P750 NOT a Stable PDA ...hang for NO reason ....

need to reset hundred of times during the usage period of ONE Month .....

Now I am thinking of doing a hard reset .... But worry that i will lose all my working application ...

anyway ... P750 is NOT really  up par of a standard PDA ... ( regretted )

going to lowyat this afternoon to by P750...not for me but for my gf...hope can find the package that include the free ipod huhuhuh....

thanx for ur advice...the salesman oredi install 20 program...i oredi tell him that no need to install so much software inside it but he did !!  now my gf tell me that the pda oredi start to hang...atleast twice a day...so may i know any suggestion that do & dont software/application that we have to install inside P750....tq

I bought P750 in PC fair that come with 4GB mem card, extra batt and a 1GB IPOD Shuffle at RM2399. Quite worth it. But guys and gals I have some problems here. Could you help me please.

1st, I want it to display the password locking screen once it wakes up from standby. Thus, I set 0 minutes in settings -> lock. But ended up, it is same as the 1 min settings because the device get locked out after 1 min (again, although I am setting 0 min). I don't see this problem in WM5. Anyone encounter this? How to rectify the problem?

2nd, after an sms arrive in my inbox and read it. Then I reset the whole device by the small hole beside. I found that the sms that I read just now has disappeared. Anyone encounter the same problem as mine?

It depends on your need, so far these are what I wanted. I am still in the midst of doing PST on the stability of the pda with all these software installed. At the same time also doing UAT on spbPhoneSuite and OAT on Garmin GPS system.

Hard reset: start -> settings -> system tab -> default settings...
WARNING: ALL CONTENT IN YOUR PHONE WILL LOST FOREVER. Content including your docs in your device's memory, sms, mms, contacts and etc. But whatever you stored on your mem card will remain as it is.

So far these are the steps I used:
Installed Apps:
1. GPS Proxy
2. Garmin Que
3. Opera
4. PHM Regedit
5. spbGPRSMonitor
6. Mapking 2007
7. dEar IME
8. softkey
9. spbMobileShell
10. spbPhoneSuite

Post Installation Steps:
- Copy sunglobe.ttf to my device\windows
- Run patch
- Patch GPS Proxy
- Check GPS Proxy settings
- Restore Garmin settings
- Patch Mapking
- Register opera
- Register GPRSMonitor
- Register spbMobileShell
- Register spbPhoneSuite

Added on May 1, 2008, 1:04 amphahmeen, yes, i like Garmin compare to Mapking. Although use mapking will save my hassle to compile maps, but I still prefer Garmin because of the functionality and user friendliness.

just bought p750 just now....still charging the battery...hahahaha

I have one question too, for those who are using this phone now. There is a feature called "Secret Folder" by Asus. But I found that it is pointing to the internal memory which way too few already. Is there anyway I can point it to my mem card.

Only in mem card we can store more files in the folder.

Hihi.. I need help... last 2 days I went to Maxis Center to ask for 3G setting, but they say this P750 not support 3G, and he show me a setting from
start -> setting -> connections ->
and select connections -> advance tab, when create new modem connection my P750 only have "bluetooth, Cellular Line, Celluler Line(GPRS) . The Maxis guy say only can connect to internet via GPRS, but not 3G shown. Can anyone help me how to configure and setting for 3G so that I can use video call as well as online 3G?

Hi, I see the setting of the PDF file u attached in. Just wonder it means that we using the modem setting "Celluler Line (GPRS)" actually consider connect to 3G?
