It's an offence to clone cards without authorization. Your condo management will fine you and make a police report.

MR DIY RM10 cases don't have a pocket like that. too cheapskate to buy other more expensive cases. isn't it better to use it like appe pay? provided if it's even possible.. otherwise that's a workable alternative

Erm, most decent G&G housing estate use RFID already, card is old school.

I think new card got another set of number that copier cannot copy hence that how they know.

Next AGM ask them upgrade to OCR camera system, no longer need card, everything is based on optical camera.

Like those shopping mall systems, don’t need card or ticket.

Now this is a decent reply. A good “upgrade”, but one fault is my housing area have families with fancy cars that has no plate stickers on their very angled front bodykits, and multiple household already rejected this idea due to the amount of “fancy car simply letak plate & too small single digit cars”, after the vendor gave a presentation of what can be read and what cannot like yearsss ago.

Maybe with a better more updated vendor this could be a non issue, but it not even a concern to me as I don’t even need to wind down or take anything out to pass through the carded boomgate.

Not like others so stupid to think when ppl say “card” it’s those close proximity touch card, of course when ppl say card access means it’s rfid card la durrr in 2023 even cheapass condo already using rfid card that don’t need to wind down window.

umm... my cheapass condo is still using HID card. not even contactless. must stick on the sensor to work.

this is SG so carpark we use the car's internal card reader unit like elsewhere in SG. but even after you get into the carpark, still need keycard to unlock the door to enter the building

bro. i spent the past 2 hours researching about cloning nfc cards to phones because of your post. i have downloaded and tried almost 10 apps.
i found out that only chinese phones using chinese region ROMs have the functionality to clone NFC cards to the phone. everywhere else and all non-china phones dont have this functionality for security reasons.

the easiest to use are Huawei phones because the capability is built into the huawei wallet app. you can just add "key" to the wallet and it works.

padahalnya the cost is <50 cents when they buy cards in bulk.

It has never been the price to buy the cards la silly. Management block their cards because never pay maintainence. Thats why they duplicate cards

The guy that I saw using his phone to tap was a China Chinese and I didn't ask him what phone he was using but I know it's an android. So I guess he knows how to make it work on his phone but don't know for iphone. Could be a Chinese phone.

I staying 2m condo also never use fingerprint. You prolly having your imaginary condo in ur head

then the bangala security need to perform fullbody and cavity search on you , then only help you to open your house door as they have mastakey to your house.

Duplicate card carries same serial woh. If the original card serial was blocked then duplicated card also auto blocked.

Exactly. My condo is almost RM170 per card... but having an extra card itself does not solve the problem cos I wanted convenience of using my phone to gain entry.

how does selling it expensive encourages people to pay maintenance fees?
u sell at 1k per card also still those non payers will clone cards, what different it makes for them?
greedy management only profiteering from those who genuinely wants extra card for family members.

when u buy extra card, make it that only unit owner with no outstanding can buy. that way u can register & tie the extra card to that unit.
if that unit owe fees, block all the cards tied to that unit.
it's not like, i dint pay management fees, card kena block, pay RM10 to buy new functioning card.

Most of the ppl who buy are tenants of the unit which the owner never pay maintenance so the tenants suffer. Seen so many cases already. The owner also smart. Rent below market price. So the tenant will think twice about moving out , especially those condo with high demand.

Some owners have outstanding of few thousands to 100k also i have seen
