Citeh really b**** slapped Madrid. Madrid old guards really ran out of luck (and steam).

We are next, unless Pep want to toy with Arsenal a little longer by resting their key players but we will still get beaten.
*
kasi false hope laugh.gif the only London club left to fight for any form of silverware is West Ham in the Conference League - they are playing 2nd-leg away later today.

let see can Lampard play a party spoiler against MU and win it?
the chances are slim anyway but these are the least Lampard can do in our sad season  laugh.gif

If we manage do that and let MU sweating and Liverpool suspense until final matches  whistling.gif
*
why not, that would definitely up the ante especially for the gambling part of the world laugh.gif
*this not a promo to judi ya laugh.gif

Whoa, didn't realize ManU and us were playing back-to-back games this week, they host us on 26th then we both play our last game on 28th.

Our last 2 games are against the current #3 and #4 - they will fight for bragging rights laugh.gif But ManU has more at stake, if they drop points - Liverpool could steal their UCL slot laugh.gif

lampard lucky he didnt relegate 2 clubs in 1 season.

and both so happen to sport the same home colors - BLUE. laugh.gif

The top half of the table already setttled (more or less) - the very bottom part of the table looks quite interesting, only ONE of them will survive laugh.gif

i wonder how Chelsea gonna come back after this terrible long long losing period..
*
by winning the Premier League and domestic cup of course, whether in 23/24 or not, is another story laugh.gif
we have a leaner schedule next season, so hopefully better performances - maybe emulate Arsenal (but not the bottling part) if we're lucky enough brows.gif

since the season is already end so here is the list of players that should go because we need to trim our squad.

Out.

Pulisic
RLC
Baba Rahman
Malang Sarr
Bakayoko
CHO
Ziyech
Azpilicueta
Koulibaly
Cucurella
Lukaku
Mendy
Gallagher

In
Nkunku
Lavia
Any striker that can score 20 goals per season at least.
*
I think it goes both ways for those walking out the door, that us as fans, and them as players - a relief.

They are free at last to spread their wings and showcase their talents where it (hopefully) suits them - instead of warming the bench and being thrown around EU on loan - macam no fixed home doh.gif

And help balance the books (and juggle the home-grown quota) at the club and more (if not most importantly) - frees up the cramped up dressing room - time to build a tight knit group to move forward! thumbsup.gif

I seriously hope Boehly don't go on another shopping spree - we already have Nkunku coming in - so just another 1-2 to plug any gaps that will open from departures will do.

sell mount , conor gallagher , lotus cheek leaving , zakaria going back, kovacic no extension, kante havent sign up.......we need 3 new midfielders....min 2.....Lavia, Ugarte , caicedo , decalan rice these 4 are my top priority as buying
*
Declan is certainly the one in quite hot demand atm, Arsenal also wanna grab him - but it will all depend on how West Ham ends the season - with or without their European trophy, Moyes has thus far played his cards pretty well in their European campaign.

Now rely on poch pull

Ugarte 60m... we need to compete with psg for his signature, but he wants epl
Caicedo at least 70m and wanted by some other clubs
Lavia not convincing enough for me

Rice just forget him, he's gonna cost 120m plus he's already twerking for arsenal. His buddy mount also cabut from chelsea already, he's not coming here

My hope is ugarte + caicedo / lavia

All these potential targets not blind - they will see how we trim the squad first, they probably seen how our January intakes are faring - the bench is not even warm any more, it is boiling hot now laugh.gif

Kante for ZERO. And Kouliabli away on loan.
That's a combined 69M, leaving for nothing.
Not the smartest financial play from our end.

And absolutely don't believe Mount will fetch us that nice sum of 75M, it's gonna be a lot less. We're the ones desperate to sell - ain't no one is desperate to sign him from us.

Fuh, if brighton bid... that means colwill want to leave?

Brighton usually do not bid unless player showed intention/agreed personal terms

oh boy, another academy product heading to Brighton - we sold Gilmour (another Golden boy of Lampard iinm) to them too

What a nightmare season for Chelsea sad.gif

ngl, i'd say we're still in it (the nightmare) - games maybe done and dusted but we still have an oversized squad to trim, not forgetting we still have incoming (like nkunku, and also lukaku from loan) to further bloat the numbers laugh.gif

I think the management trying hard to lower the overall wages structure on new signing with long term contract.
In a way, should the new players not up to par or to play for us.
They can easily sold or loan out cos their salary will not be an issue for potential buyers.
At least we don't loss out on resale value that much after all they are bought at younger ages.

It seem that management are getting rid of those on high wages or asking for high wages now... example : Mount
Maybe it a good plan.. may need longer term to see is it working or not... hmm.gif

Now just hoping it won't turn out like Arsene Arsenal era or worse.. like Spur, forever building up  sweat.gif
*
actually salute Wenger for being able to juggle the budget he was given - they built new stadium, money all went there, he only have small pocket money to play against the rest of the big boys laugh.gif

our "new stadium" = Boehly's Big January Splurge. Now baru start kedekut laugh.gif
i think he did not realize how important the summer transfer window(now!) would be compared to the January one, or he was too overly eager get things moving/make a statement sweat.gif
