If Fabregas were to be there, Giggs and Scholes would have been definite inclusions because no offense, but they have been above him last season. This season would be a different story.

as much i like arsenal and their player, cesc still have many thing to do before he can be shortlist for player of the years, he still need to learn many thing, he maybe good for arsenal right now, but they also consider player's contribution for club and country...maybe we can see cesc after 2-4 years, who knows...

Again I must say, Titi should have won it THREE TIMES, especially the season when we went unbeaten in the league. No other striker matched his consistency that season.

i know fabregas is good but i dont get it why van persie he spend quite a long period last season injured.

van persie injured a long period of time last season but his stats was impressive... 11 goals in 17 mathces if i'm not mistaken.... if given more matches played and away from injuries... he might get a chance on the list... but i doubt that as the list is hugely base on the fame of the players .... only big names and overated players in this list.... some in exception of course....eg kaka and C.Ronaldo....

Thou not a Man Utd fan i really think Ronaldo should win this award for his outstanding performance last season

11goals in 17match is nothing,if then so,i bet michael owen should be inside the list the year before this, he scored 7goals in 11 games. and not to mention a hat trick . thats before he gone injured for the rest of the season.


ps:i think the award is more to judgement on player's effect towards the team. let's forget about they didnt put up players with superb performance last season (such as totti) . but the winner definitely is based on player's hardwork and effect towards the team.so what did van persie did other than scoring 11goals in 17matches? he didnt features in carling cup too,even if arsenal make it to the final.
