Personally with the latest tire test results in 2022 and want best value:performance ratio tires in local market, i would recommend Falken ZE310 which is available here.

Michelin is kinda overprice nowadays and the given performance is not top notch unless they updated to new model, if not i would prefer to spend the money else where

If into wet related performance, even higher range primacy 4 tires also fair not better compare to Falken 310

Primacy 4 (More higher range compare to XM2+)
Wet Braking 10th +2.8 M 93.89%
Wet Handling 13th -1.9 Km/H 97.46%
Wet Circle 13th -0.54 m/s 91.99%
Straight Aqua 5th -1.8 Km/H 97.96%
Curved Aquaplaning 14th -0.7 m/sec2 85.57%

ZE310 (Almost all wet related category beats Michelin)
Wet Braking 3rd +0.6 M 98.62%
Wet Handling 8th -1.4 Km/H 98.13%
Wet Circle 3rd -0.13 m/s 98.07%
Straight Aqua 1st  100%
Curved Aquaplaning 5th -0.32 m/sec2 93.4%

Just sharing my experience with ZE310 (although at different size of 185/55R16)

I actually got ZE310 previously based on the result on tyre reviews but when I am driving for real it is quite sketchy during the rain.

Suspect is due to the ZE310 locally that was made in Thailand are different from the European ZE310 that was made in turkey where tyre review was based

Would love to get hold of european ze310 and redo the test but there posibility it may not hold up to our weather here cry.gif

In this case I would just get Mich since it is proven to work well in our climate.

Btw i got group member using 225/55R17 & 225/60R17 on Subaru Xv/Forester got good feedback compare to previous OEM Continental MC5 tires. Better comfort and confidence driving it in the rain, if your been using UHP or performance tire in the past u might feel the drop in performance as ZE310 is still comfort base touring tires. FYI MC5 is also touring base tire, only MC6 upgraded to UHP.

Most likely I am the one who pushed the tired like mad hence it unable to handle it.

Surely better than stock Atlas tires but not enough for me based on the way I drive

On the plus side ZE310 is cheap vs other similar performing tires too.

I got mine directly from Stanford Tire at shah alam.
