I use a daiso telescopic pole and slide through curtain also from daiso. Will diminish your natural lighting though if the curtain is too thick.

Yes using daiso pole and curtain. The curtain just has a loop you run the pole through. Its meant for kitchen window but you can use for your toilet. Every now and then you can wash it to remove soap or whatever .
