Hello, I got myself The Unbranded Brand UB901 Type 3 Raw Selvedge Jacket, the fit is 99% perfect in size S, just that the sleeves is slightly a tad longer.

Although it is Sanforized, it will definitely still shrink up to 3% in a hot soak for the first time, so I plan to give it a hot soak, but I'm not sure about the process and what temperature to use. Anyone who have experience in raw stuff can give some comments ? What temperature should I set my hot water to ? Soak for how long ? After soaking, it's very wet, any idea how to get rid of excess water ? ( Since can't squeeze or twist it )

What i did was that i wore my jacket and jeans to the shower. and let it soak.

not sure if its the best method. but i would wear, and set the shower to maximum.

So far it has worked pretty good for me.

Hey man, wow this is a technique that I have never heard before, although I've only been lurking in the rawdenim forums in reddit for few years.

So, you suggest wearing the jacket and then stay under the shower with maximum temperature ? What is your temperature set at ?

On a site note, I'd just ask in one shot

- How long should I soak for ?

- What did you do to get rid of the excess water ?

- If hang on hanger to air dry, would it stretch the jacket ?
