definitely, and here its 40mm watch instead of 44mm. anyways if he can get access to edu portal or epp portal, i think still the best overall offer for phone alone.

Edu portal now discount 15% only. During PO time, it was 20%

An update from Samsung about my cosmetic defect S23U Graphite. After 2 days, they called me just now and gave me 2 options:
1. Collect the device and send it to service center. After inspection, they will advise whether a repair or a replacement is needed.
2. Don't collect the device. SES will send the device back to warehouse. And they will refund to me.

I have a dilemma here.
Option 1: Don't know how long it will take to get repair/replacement
Option 2: Now I can immediately walk in and get ready stock from SES or other retailers. But I will miss out on the preorder offer: RM600 trade in rebate and RM400 voucher.

What would be your best advice, fellow lyn?

I decided to get refund. Already informed Samsung Careline.
They agreed and phone conversation was recorded according to them. Written email was also sent.

Just when I thought it's settled, Samsung called me again. They said they are unable to refund SC+ 2 years that I purchased. They can only transfer the SC+ to my another new Samsung device if I decided to buy from Samsung again.

Haha. Guess I have no choice but to buy Samsung again. What a good bondage from Samsung.. Ensure I won't go to the fruit phone. biggrin.gif

It's been a week since I requested refund. I've been calling them everyday to chase for the greenlight. I need to know if they will refund or not, then I only dare to repurchase. But all they ever answer (in call and in email) was they are investigating and ask me to wait patiently.

I called SES and they told me, no whatsoever communication from Samsung concerning my phone, and my phone is still there with them. This is getting nowhere, and I run out of patience.

I'm going to file a tribunal claim. Could someone share, full information of the respondent details, in this case is Samsung Malaysia? Name, company no and address. Is it the same as the little sticker printed on the phone box?

There are two types of Samsung Care Plus.

The one RM659 for two years include logistic service (pick and send back your device from home to service centre and vice versa), 24/7 technical support, screen protector replacement, accidental damage, water damage, screen damage and device replacement.

The second one is the "ala carte" RM330 for two years (as shown in picture) ; only cover basic ones accidental damage, water damage, screen damage and device replacement.

You need to get it before your device become 30 days old to entitle it.

Just go to any Samsung Experience Store and mentioned "ala carte" Samsung Care Plus to them; they do have it.

Hi, can you let me know which SES sells ala carte?
I walked into 2 SES in Ipoh, they said they don't have ala carte. Just the RM659 only.
