Traded in an old phone when buying s23u. Got phone in Feb. Till today nobody contacted me to collect old phone. Anyone experienced this?

I actually don't mind not selling the old phone. Just wondering whether I can initiate another trade-in in future (wonder whether they keep track of imei).

Friendly advice: don't buy the ori Samsung clear hard case. Once put on, it's so difficult to remove that people actually made YT video on how to remove it.

I have one btw.

I'm not ruling out selling returned sets. Some reviews actually say the warranty start date is much earlier than purchase date, iirc.

The supplied cable can only get 25W IIRC. I tested this by looking at the charging time (to full charge) shown when plugging the cable to a 25W vs 45W charger, both show same charging speed.

Guys, anyone remember whether the device warranty for S23U will be extended from one year to 2 years if we purchase the 2 year Care plan?

Thanks for confirming. Do you know whether I need to do anything to get this extended warranty? It's my wife phone. She checked Samsung account and the warranty (for non-accidental/water ingress) is only one year.

I bought care+ , 2 years, during pre-order.

What I mean is, despite buying 2-year care+, my regular warranty is still shown as one year in Samsung account. So I would like to confirm whether you guys are seeing the same.

Bit I've read reviews where buyers said their warranty activated earlier than purchase date. I mean, if the sellers opened the box to get the IMEI sticker, why would they need to power on and presumably connect to WiFi?

The buyers probably checked or tried to register for warranty and saw the warranty already activated and warranty started before date of purchase.

I confirmed with one sen heng staff at the physical shop - he told me warranty will be activated/registered when I insert an active sim card or connect to WiFi.

Anyone using s23U is facing issues of high battery drain? Waifu's phone suddenly experiencing it. Dropped 20% overnight.
