BTW I already got my transparent case from China, cheap one. Hope it fits S23U and not fake...

My S23U Lime and Watch 5 (40mm) both shipping. Just picked up by DHL 10:35pm... KL to JB, maybe Monday I can receive... GOGOGO.

Hi can I check how to get the official receipt from Samsung online? For tax purpose... Also my DHL delivery is out for delivery.

So where is the S23U manufactured? Based on IMEI code it is 61, but I cannot find the country with value 61. Some other IMEI websites state the manufacturer from Samsung Korea. I will be very surprised Malaysia's stock is from Korea and not from Vietnam.

Any idea for the first delivered batch? Lime colour.

Can I confirm the default usb cable from s23U can support 45W charging? I am getting a ugreen 45w charger but it doesn't come with usb c cable. And quite expensive, over rm85.

Sorry can I check all new S23 Ultra have the thin plastic films? Mine doesn't seem to have it. At least I can't find the opening to peel off...

The smart switch is quite buggy. A lot of apps need to login again or update apps. Worse is the What's app, it got transferred over the data but the photos are not available despite being in the gallery. So yeah the Smart Switch though saves time but quite buggy. This what's app transfer is a nightmare. I still got many apps still haven't login... crazy how much time it is taking.

I just came back from Vietnam, some of the Wi-Fi there when my s23 ultra lime green got connected, there will be a message that says wechat cannot be connected and have to do it via mobile data. Then I read somewhere there's a problem with some wifi connection.

Are you guys facing the same issue, ie no internet when connected via wifi or certain apps no internet access?

I can confirm my s23u wifi a bit strange, what's app wechat typically gets message way slower than using pc online. ie you get messages online via pc, sometimes you don't get it on phone until you on the phone. I have enabled all optimize setting plus run apps in background. I sure hope the next update will fix this wifi issue.

Also the spigen case so fast sold out in lazada... Crystal clear one. Crazy.... I guessed I am stuck with lousy China one until next month promotion plus restock.

Nope it is off. S21u has the full max battery power setting, but s23u only optimized setting and power saving for battery. The apps don't sleep in background too.

Today I removed the rubber/silicone casing to change sim card, then realized the back cover of the phone is loose (can be taken out) as in the glue no more works. ie I can remove the back of my phone, surprise they use glue instead of clips or screws.

I checked with the Customer Service and they say it is normal for S23 Ultra for the back cover glue to stop workng. May I know anyone encountered this and how much to repair/glue back it in Samsung Service Center? If I put the phone back into casing it works normal as the casing holds the phone.

I am thinking of changing the battery too after using it 2.5 years. After running diagnostic the Battery status is Normal and Life is Good. Even though clearly the battery life somewhat shorten, ie need to change 2 or 3 times a day.

I am thinking maybe just go Service Center replace battery (quoted rm210) and get the back cover glued back. I might buy the upcoming Fold 7 or S26 Ultra next year, so this phone will be used as spare. Apart from the IP68 water leak potential if I don't change, any other issues if I don't change?

Seriously I think Samsung build quality really not there, last time Note 2 died on me. But andriod I have no choice unless I want to go iphone.... tough decision.

Yeah I went to Samsung Service Center despite their system saying still got stock, but the guy there cannot find it. So I paid full over rm217 for the battery to wait for stock. According to the technician a bit bulge (not sure if true) but the process is too troublesome so just change. The diagnostic shows Battery Life still Good.


May I know your phone needs to be reset? ie data, configuration all gone or intact? I told the guy I don't have backup so just change the battery and make sure data not reformat or wiped out.

Yes include battery. With this change I think I will not change to Fold 7 or even S26 ultra unless the offer is really good. Probably with new battery can last me another 1.5 years to S27 ultra lol.

You mean how much? I think rm210 to rm230, cannot remember.

Repair took around few hours. Depend if the center is busy but usually change battery should not take long.
