Got the S23+ for 5 days. Initially the overnight standby power consumption was excellent. Suddenly it became one of the worst phone I have

WiFi off
On roaming 5G
Signal 3 bars
Battery shows no apps consuming battery

It's consuming 2% battery per hour on overnight standby

Anyone know what's going on?

Bluetooth on? NFC on? Location on? WiFi on?

I have similar problems with my S23 on roaming when having dual SIM. Either no data or high power consumption. Anyone else having problems? Another S23 on just one SIM has no problems.

In the past this method to clear the partition works but doesn't seem to work on the S23. Anyone got any idea how to now?

Follow these steps if you wish to go ahead:

Turn off the device.
Connect To Computer or plug in USB-C Headphones , Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key .
When the Android logo displays, release all three keys.
An 'Installing system update' message will show for 30 - 60 seconds before the Android system recovery menu options appear.
Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
Press Power key to select.
Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.

Press the Power key to restart the device

For me, it only takes 4 or 5 months. So for the new phone, I use SP that cost RM 10 and change more often.

Previously using Note 20 Exynos. Find the S23+ Snapdragon last almost twice as long. So Exynos is not good enough.

1st time using Accubattery and if it is to be believed, my 3 years old Note battery health hasn't change much. That is probably because I have been using the phone's Battery Protect feature limiting charging to 85% only
