Out of 6 of my friends who use N95 or N95 8GB, 4 of them complaining the phone's stability is very bad... often hang and apps are buggy. Indeed it is a king grade phone because it has all the latest and greatest technology and features but I hope Nokia can improve the battery life and phone's OS stability.
Out of 8 of my friends who use iPhone 8/16GB, all of them love their iPhone and some are from N95 user convert. See, one would make a sacrifice to hide the features behind them and actually look at the iPhone. iPhone is indeed far ahead of any other smartphones or PDA platforms, and trust me... you just spend 1-2 hours with the iPhone carefully and you'll understand how great and easy to use the device is. |

Agreed with your comment. For the features that the iphone has, Apple has done them very well. Probably simplicity at its best. The media function is IMO the best out there in terms of simplicity (of course, just like an ipod). And internet browsing has never been so nice on a tiny PDA/smartphone screen. This is coming from somebody who has been using PDA/smartphones for many many years.Of course the Nokia is packed with more features and yes, they are really useful features (3G, GPS etc) if you really need them. In the end, it all depends on the user & what features they really use in real life. If you really don't need the extra features of the Nokia, IMO iphone is better. However if you can't live without 3G,GPS etc there's little point in buying the iphone. |

It still in a migration stage. Besides, not many people uses 3g to call. Normal surfing is adequate on gprs, unless you're talking about viewing videos from youtube, then hspda is something you should consider

QUOTE(Liuteva @ May 9 2008, 09:59 PM) In form factor design, maybe a little but there's a new firmware rolling out (version 2.0, current 1.1.4.) and most likely to be preloaded into 3G iPhone out of the factory/box and the new firmware will be on iPhone and iPod touch as well... so new apps and features coming. So far, by watching YouTube videos on that firmware preview, I really like it and beware, there's alot of potential inside the iPhone as a gaming device, mobile TV, GPS receiver and alot more. Developers are striving! |
