hihi, been looking at subsale houses in a particular area that me and my gf are interested. However, looking at the agents in iproperty and propertyguru, when I look up at LPPEH, it's either they are not registered at all or expired 12/2022.
Should i continue to approach them (it's illegal to deal with unlicensed agent right?) or ... just meet them to see the house, and if we are satisfied with the house, we ask the company to get the licensed agent before going through all the booking form, SPA etc. procedure?
Earnest deposit is paid directly to the agency. So it should be fine as long as you don't pay any cash to the agents and get your lawyer to look at the booking form before signing it. Happy house hunting!Should i continue to approach them (it's illegal to deal with unlicensed agent right?) or ... just meet them to see the house, and if we are satisfied with the house, we ask the company to get the licensed agent before going through all the booking form, SPA etc. procedure?
