QUOTE(MR_alien @ Jan 2 2023, 04:05 PM) i'm ok with continental u should try different brand first. drive slow during heavy rain also make the car aquaplanning at 70kmh, triggered ESC light at dashboard. The only praise for UC6 is relatively quite ride, but Wet, sorry it just poor.even the lowest end CC6 those who're not ok, makes u wonder how fast are they driving |

QUOTE(Coldf3ar @ Jan 2 2023, 07:45 PM) back then, continental aggressively sponsored the YouTubers for this tyre, kinda create a news this tyre can fight with PS4 but a lot cheaper. I wait until got many owner review in FB, group etc, it also not that great and definitely cant fight PS3, PS4 on wet. those 2 are great at wet rainy roads.MC5 is one of the poorest Continental tyre we had here. MC6 don't ever sold abroad. |

After that cc6 no more hydroplane, then now Goodyear , pergh even better handling |

QUOTE(MR_alien @ Jan 2 2023, 08:10 PM) michelin is crazy expensive in sabah Michelin is expansive, but if u go to Oscar Bukit Kemuning, Shah Alam, the price is affordable. Just that nowadays, all tyres gone up the price. 2019, 235/45/18 PS4 for sedan, cost me RM550 per donuts at Oscar, if Kajang tyre shop, RM800+, the RP at that size is RM880+ iinm, The MC6 235/45/18 at rm500, so why not taking PS4 straight away.out of my budget in WM as well u sponsor me michelin....i show u how to drive 130-140KM/H in heavy rain no ABS, no EBD...no nothing |

Don't skimp on tires. That's the only contact point for your car. When you need it that time then too late to regret liao.

Just a quick question:
My front tyres left with 10% thread, rear still got 40% threads left. Frequent balik kampung & long distance interstate driving during weekends. Should i replace: 1.all FOUR 2.just TWO but changed the FRONT (old rear tyres maintain) 3.just TWO but changed the REAR (old rear tyres bring to front) Using Goodyear Assurance Triplemax 2 195/60/16 tyres since January 2020 (manufacture date: Week 41 Year 2019) Car: Honda BRV 1st Gen 2017 |

QUOTE(ayamxxx @ Jan 2 2023, 07:56 PM) yup sure different brand after this, only run 30k km, wait to botak first. From group, Hankook SUV tyres forgot what model also get good review Took uc6 suv because primacy 4 have to wait stock. But so far no skid or aquaplaning maybe mine is full time awd and I never slow down during rain. Next time will try toyo cr2 or yoko ae61 if primacy is too expensive. |
