The latest generation for Legion 7 is 7th gen. Different generations have different configurations

The G4 for that ThinkBook model means it's the 4th generation

Your Legion 7 is the 6th gen version
You can forget about installing an HDD as Legion 7 G6 doesn't have a SATA slot

But Legion 7 6th gen has 2 x M.2 slots so you can install another M.2 NVMe SSD in your laptop

Just go with Transcend MTE220S. Their 2TB is the cheapest on the market with DRAM cache built-in
