I am planning to switch to unifi air.

I have check the coverage on unifi website. The coverage is just touching on the side of my house.

I was using unifi mobile 4g. Got coverage.

Using yes 4g got coverage.

I used celcom before 4 years back got 4g coverage.

So before I pay RM100 upfront, I would like to know whether I can get unifi air 4g coverage or not.

I have read elsewhere that unifi mobile and unifi air are not the same.

I am planning to get the one without the router , so no contract.

Mainly no contract.

If not wrong Unifi Air should be similar with P1 Wimax which is long years ago taken by TM, I do believe their coverage is same as Unifi Mobile as well.

Wrong. Unifi Air/bebas/postpaid shares same tower/coverage. Wherever you read that isn't correct.

unifi Air's coverage map option in unifi's website is really just show places with LTE B40 coverage which unifi bebas/postpaid SIMs also can connect to.

No contract but the upfront RM100 payment will need more than 90 days for refund... Say we subscribe today and terminate tmrw, the refund will take more than 90 days... most probably 150 days from the date we terminate the subscription... also, an official report to the MCMC is COMPULSORY for this refund...

Since the coverage is not solid (based on ur descriptions), meow would not subscribe...

Then why don't unifi update their coverage map over on the unifi website?

you will get coverage but if only band 5 it sucks

band 5 speed usually is slower since it give wider coverage and more client connected per base station

btw can check the band connected if youre using phone using app like lte discovery

if your phone connect to band 38/40 then its worth to get unifi air
