What are the Poco Returns policy like? Lazada / Shopee?

I find that my second SIM doesn't always show and WiFi gets slow some times and the phone gets warm. Also battery pretty bad for a new phone. I don't even play games. Or use tiktok as much. But it drains like my 2 year old Redmi Note 8 Pro. Sure I set my screen to 120hz.
*
if already opened and used, no more return policy..

return policy only for unopened units.

anyway, for your case is to go for warranty claim..

send to xiaomi SC let them diagnose what is wrong

Hi guys. Need some assistance and help. Recently purchased Redmi Note 12 Pro and really enjoying the phone. However, I have encountered an issue regarding the fingerprint sensor's vibration. It vibrates when the fingerprint isn't positioned correctly. How can I disable this feature? In other words, how can I completely turn off all vibration modes?
*
turn off vibrations.

can tinker in the settings menu

QUOTE(lanusb @ Oct 13 2023, 05:58 PM)
Hie does the f5, supposed twin app, for all types of app like carousel, or just the communication app?
*

Guys, from time to time, I got logged out of the apps I seldom use. I realise this has to do with miui security. How do I disable this feature in my Poco F5, if possible?

Very leceh to realise I forgot the user ID and/or password when I need to use.
*
its nothing to do with MIUI, it is android.

firstly, apps not used >3 months will get their permissions deleted (for security). then if even longer caches/temp files may be cleared (for storage saving)

settings > apps > X app > permissions > unused app settings

It's kind of irritating to be honest. Furthermore, it consumes battery when the vibration is triggered. My MIUI version is currently 14.0.8. I just found out that not all phones of the same model can get this update. I wonder why this is happening. Few of my friends with the same phone model can't get this update version. Oh one more thing, I can't get my phone to charge up to 100%. It gets stuck at 97%. I need to unplug the cable and plug it back in to reach 100%. Any ideas why this is happening?  sad.gif  sad.gif  sad.gif
*
1) i use face unlock. i rarely use FP unlock, only when in banking apps. The detection is super fast/accurate so never had any mistakes triggered.

Just think about it. if you access any app with FP unlock, if no vibration and the FP is wrong how else would you know without looking at the screen and reading the error prompt.

and what battery usage you worried about la kek. doh.gif You have 5000mah battery and a 67w fast charger that could top up your phone to full in 30~40 mins.

2) MIUI updates are sent to people staggered. Not every single person gets the update immediately. Updates sent by batches. The only problem with MIUI updates is by region. Example: SG region gets the update but MY region doesn't or much slower. So if really want that update just change region to SG

3) stuck at 97% for how long when charging. and is it always stuck at 97% every single time you charge the phone?

Originally wanted to go for the redmi note 12 but missed the promotion period because I was on the fence for too long.
Not a tech savvy person, but isn't Dimensity chips currently for high end 5G phones? so definitely out of my budget.
*
topup a bit you can get poco f4 for <800 iirc.

but not sure still got stock or not. Last month still got..

5G isn't a concern for me yet.

The POCO F4 is pricier, so out of my budget.

As for the Poco F4, the other commenter given was a great phone for the price, but as he said, it is probably out of stock due to discontinuation of the device 😅
*
F4 is not pricier lah, around 899 before any vouchers, Use those vouchers can get it to below 700 even.

but yea for this month seems like not selling, didnt see it.. Last month i check still got sell by POCO Official Global.
You can go chat with the POCO global store CS ask them whether still got sell F4 or not. Who knows, maybe they still have stock and can list the item back for you.

Proof: 2023-11-06 review, means that person bought during October like I said above..

If you manage to get F4 is no brainer liao. SD870 is still a very good chip. And for supposedly "budget" phone range of 600~700, you getting a flagship CPU that can easily last for another 3~4 years esp if not concerned with gaming, 120hz amoled with Dolby Vision. and the amoled is using E4 Samsung panel, the color accuracy and display is seriously on par with flagship Samsungs.. All this is to say, content consumption on the F4 is very enjoyable. Mind you this display is even better than what current Poco F5 using.. Then not to mention all the other stuff that is good like 67W fast charging, pretty good battery capacity, etc etc

sos: i have f3, f4 and f5.

I suggest not blindly waiting for F4 considering F5 is already out, and F4 definitely discontinued a few months ago after launch of F5, so what's left of Poco F4 is either leftover stock or used sets. Still as per forummer mentioned, try asking one question to Poco CS and kindly ask if they have stock of F4 going to restock.

But for a currently available in market device, the Poco X5 5G at RM696 is the best one available in the market that fits the 600~700 budget.
*
1) objectively wrong. Like I said, i saw it was still selling as recent as last month. Only this month they decided to pull it from the store or didnt restock listing.
but who knows whether they completely emptied their F4 inventory or still got some leftover stocks. That's why I say go chat with CS and find out, you never know manatau they still got F4 stocks..

2) its sold by poco official store, no used sets business here..

if the OP can somehow get an F4 (+vouchers) he/she should definitely go for it. Way way better than the X5. Only if really cannot get F4 then can settle for the X5.

I think you misunderstood my statement, since the item is pulled off the store, it means it has been discontinued for general purchase as of at least yesterday already. And user great123 can't purchase a Poco F4 that is not available for stock at a not available price.

And your reading comprehension needs improvement, because I didn't say the seller is selling used sets, my meaning was that the currently available Poco F4 for purchase is now used sets elsewhere, since the listing has been removed from public view (i.e. like unlisted video on YouTube) on Shopee.

If you insist on recommending unavailable products, I can't restrict your freedom of speech, but it is objectively ironic and wrong to recommend a currently unavailable product to a customer who is looking for a product available in his budget.
*
since when was the item pulled from the store completely?? It is still there, just that it is currently OOS.
The listing was only pulled off from their Lazada store, for whatever reason. Their Lazada store they nuked a lot of stuff anyway so it should not be used as any indicator.

product page: https://shopee.com.my/POCO-F4(6-128GB)-Smar...5d-25cbee9bf639

there's a chance it can be restocked. Again, it was still selling as recently as last month, which is only a few weeks ago.
It's not a far fetched idea that they could still have some stocks left.

Also, is my reading comprehension bad, or your english just plain terrible? If we want to go that route, you better make sure your english proficiency is excellent. Else you are just slinging mud at your ownself. You keep making misleading and downright untrue statements, then say other people got bad comprehension.

Exactly like that nonsense you are yapping about the F4 being removed from public view on Shopee, just like unlisted youtube videos laugh.gif laugh.gif

So answer me this then, which part of these statements are even remotely true? I quote you word for word yeah.
QUOTE
F4 definitely discontinued a few months ago after launch of F5

If the F4 is still sold officially by Poco as recent as last month, FIVE months after F5 was launched, which part of "definitely discontinued" and "few months ago after launch of F5" is true?
QUOTE
currently available Poco F4 for purchase is now used sets elsewhere

Also, i'm pretty sure you can still purchase brand new Poco F4 from those physical mobile shops y'know. If you look around hard enough, might even get them for a good price since they will be looking to clear their stocks. So again, it is just objectively wrong to say available poco f4 for purchase as of right now, are going to be ONLY used sets. Like in this whole Malaysia, every phone shop definitely wont have any brand new poco f4 lying around to sell at all 🤣🤣

Don't be so confidently incorrect la next time, you small fish in a big pond still got lots to learn about how the world works man.

Let me give you a clue la since you sound so clueless: past year flagships or top tier phones are POPULAR in our foreign worker market.

Also, you keep saying "unavailable" product, and I keep mentioning multiple times. it was still selling LAST MONTH.
If the OP have asked/chat with the CS to get a 100% confirmation that Poco have indeed stopped selling the F4, then sure your point stands.

For OP, the Poco F4 is priced just nice above 800 to make use of the 800-180 voucher. That alone will bring the cost from 900 straight down to 720. Not counting the usage of other shopee voucher/coins. Combine everything together, you could easily buy for around 600+ bucks only.

If I was OP, I would do everything in my power to try and possibly get a hold of the F4.
I would thought the same would apply to you when giving advice to someone. Instead of just taking the easy route to settle for the sub-par X5. What a lazy advice.

Sure Shakespeare. Also reminder for you to touch some grass, cause getting triggered enough to bold your words red to show your anger is a clear sign of mental disability. Lmao
*
clearly i needed to bold them because you seem blind. Even bolded, you still couldn't/wouldn't/didnt want to answer me.
I just wanted to point out to you, your untrue statements you spew out.
So that this time you cant say I misunderstood you or that I have bad reading comprehension.

I'll ask again.
- So which part of the poco f4 listing on shopee was removed/hidden from general view? (just like unlisted yt videos btw rolleyes.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif )
- How is the F4 discontinued "months ago" if it is still sold officially as recently as last month?

You also claim currently if one were to buy an F4, "currently available Poco F4 for purchase is now used sets elsewhere".
- So what about those physical phone shops? I'm certain some shops still selling brand new Poco F4.

Hopefully you are able to answer to your claims la instead of just ignoring them. But i know fosho you aint got an answer anyway as i just made you look plain stupid.

You cant even rebut what I said after proving to you all the statements you make are just plain wrong.

So your only options left are to resort to personal attacks?

It's clear to see who's the triggered one with the mental disability here. Peace icon_rolleyes.gif

PS: sorry to shame you again, but you dont have to be lucky at all to use the shopee voucher i mentioned earlier. that 10% discount (capped @ 120) is available for everyone, there's no quota limit for it.
No luck involved, just use it wink.gif

Another thing wanna ask if anyone using Poco F5 or perhaps Xiaomi phones or may it could be the newer Android OS (12 or 13, I guess) about the facial unlock. Anyone experienced or encounter b4 that the phone is placed on the table and facing towards you/your face, like placed on a handphone stand, and then out of a sudden, the phone screen is already turn off (phone is turned on, just screen is off, black), next some Whatsapp messages come in and then the phone just unlocked by itself (which i suspect it is the facial recognition). Any advice?

I haven't really disable the facial recognition yet as I just got the phone today and experienced this.... never encountered this before on my previous old phone that can also use facial recognition to unlock phone BUT only when I manually double tap/power up the screen then only phone unlock.

Thx in advance.
*
im using the provided stock clear case + ibywind TG.. i dropped my phone few times already. once from my lap to the road when getting out of the car (stone tiled road though, not tarred road), then few times from bed height drop to tiled floors. all situations survived, no issues. Im happy enough with the clear case hmm.gif

For me, if notification comes in, the screen lights up, can see notification come from which app but not the contents of notification. (you can choose how you want notifications to be displayed on lock screen)

anyway, face unlock wont be triggered. means phone is still locked.
if i swipe to unlock while the screen is lit up from the notification coming in, it will bring me to PIN page, if want to use face unlock then have to manually press the face unlock symbol above the pin. I find this security very good. Means cannot unlock using face for notifications basically, until the phone screen turn back off.

that's for notification scenarios. for normal double tap unlock scenario, when double tap, face unlock will detect, pass and remain in lock screen. have to swipe the screen to fully unlock it.

ads pop up while clicking an icon to launch at app at home screen?
If this is the case, use google playstore to scan apps for any harmful apps
next is to check settings > manage apps > and then find any apps that are "launcher" type
my mom's phone experienced ads pop up during clicking app icon to launch any app, and after checking further, apparently it was poco launcher the culprit that is showing the pop up ads.

if there isn't any "launcher" type of apps on ur phone, then u might want to check and see any apps installed on ur phone that u find that they are installed but u don't remember installing them, then uninstall those, maybe those are some of the apps that contribute to ads.

another way is to find this app called "Google", if it is installed on ur phone, and launch the app.
Click the Icon for your Google Account. Select Manage your Google Account.
Select Data & privacy or Privacy and Security (depending which one you can find)
Scroll to "Things you've done and places you've been."
Select “Personalized ads.”
Turn off the switch next to "Personalized ads."

or just google around to see what other options are available that some posts/websites offer some solutions.

doubt they would use mediatek for F-series.

with mediatek + HyperOS, can officially say goodbye to custom ROMs.
so yea, dont think they would completely switch to mediatek.

Probably 8 gen 2 for F6 based on redmi K70. Cause on paper the x6 pro is 'better' than the F5 dy.. Heck even better than f5 pro.

Anyway, what this means is that x6 pro is going to be around poco F5 price, and F6 is prob going to be around F5 pro price.. With a slight price increase.

asoulnamedleo thoughts?

Unless they really going all in on mediatek (i doubt so)
