Did time stop offering Public IP to 100mbps plan? i double-checked with my friend and my plan. 500mbps has public IP assigned to his router. but mine 100mbps doesn't have public IP assigned, my internet IP is private IP starts with 10. i chat with TIME support, they ensure all fibre plans has public IPs. did I missed out anything?

Just inform them you need Public IP for remote access service like CCTV or managing home computers or router, remotely. Certain ISP CS requires proof of attachment for your claim, but I don't know how TIME operate.

The Internet is running out of IPv4 addresses, thats why we have the new IPv6 addresses. Start using IPv6 instead. Also if your package is a Dynamic IP Address, make use of Dynamic DNS services like No-IP, DynDNS etc. this way irregardless your IP address changes or not, you can still access your home devices from anywhere. Hope this helps...

I am requesting them to reinstate my public IP. Still no answer.

I'm pretty sure TIME will be able to provide a Public IP address, try to talk to their Technical Dept. instead, they are more knowledgeable in this matters. I believe the reasons you want a Public IP address, is to access some applications or services in your house. This can be Legacy/Old CCTV system which usually required Port Forwarding & a Public IP Address. I would suggest that you replace those old devices and use Cloud based CCTV System (eg. HIK-Vision with HIK-Connect Apps), this way you do not need a Public IP address nor Dynamic DNS for it to works. HIK-Connect is Cloud based system works out of the box. Just a simple registration on their Web Portal or via their Apps & enable the "Platform" access in the DVR/NVR. Super simple... Hope this helps...

Thank you! It worked. Basically told them to give me a Public IP and turn off CG-NAT (carrier grade NAT). They did it extremely fast on a Sunday. Awesome customer service!
