Indian food pricing doesnt make sense at all.

Mamak food i avoid at all cost.
Malay food is nice but drinks can be too sweet. Most of the time, i can only sip and unable to finish. Pricing wise depends. But still expensive.
Chinese economy rice so far reasonable pricing. Always comes with free chinese tea and soup. The rice is alot in one serve.

Nowadays i also moving away from curry and more to soups and noodles

Yup but expensive for me la. My lunch budget is max 10 with drinks

Just to share went to banana leaf restaurant call Maya at bangsar
Banana leaf rice add on chicken and shredded ikan yu

Machaohai price was 72 ringgit. I ask why so expensive he said this is expected price to eat in bangsar
My mistake also never ask price up front thinking same like other blr shop. Food was tasty tho so I left it at that but won’t return again hahaha
