Bro joe eating healthy, Indian food nowadays too much oil, spices and heaty. Steamed egg with stir fry taugeh is less heaty. Steamed pork ribs with black bean and other stir fried vege better than overcooked Indian vege dishes. Not to be confused with mamak or nasi kandar cooking which is high in cholesterol, salt and sugar incl msg.

in my head the entire time i was like fk this shit man, thought boss say belanja but in the end ownself have to pay and also so fking exp

then after paid and sat down eat, after finish eating then boss say he go pay then he ask the entire team to repeat what they took to the boss and i was like?????? you eat all already then just tell the boss what you took then he bill you for it??? how tf does that even work

anyway the pricing structure doesnt make sense to me and the fact that you get to take then eat then only pay by telling the boss what you took is mind boggling

indian nasi campur are expensive but very delicious and price is consistent. if i am to die one day, i want to die overdosing on indian food 🤤.

malay nasi campur are mixed. got good, got bad. the good one really good while the bad one can be really bad and unhygienic. if you managed to find a really good one macam strike lottery and gold. the drinks tend to be too sweet however.

chinese foods are either too bland or salty for my taste but they have lots of choice. probably healthier also also but their price is inconsistent. the same lauk and portion you took yesterday cost you rm10 might cost you rm11 today.

For Chinese 3 lauk is pretty standard.
Everytime I eat malay and mamak, they make me feel like 3 lauk is very lavish and charge me a bomb

Before MCO, chinese mixed rice 1 vege + 1 tofu + 1 egg = RM4.50
Now, chinese mixed rice 1 vege + 1 tofu + 1 egg = RM7.00

If this is considered cheap, I cannot imagine how expensive indian/mamak/malay food is now.
