9600GT will be the 1st card from the 9 series family.. based on its rumoured spec, nothing impresses me though..

ATI should make a great comeback with their next release, hopefully on par in terms of performance with 9 series, so that consumers can make a choice, go for the cheaper ones..

that must be the spec of the top line series.. must be damn expensive la..

mid and top range 9 series will do the job, i think.. Nvidia wont be stupid enough to release a new series of their cards that can't run Crysis well.. in a matter of fact, currently they are optimizing their drivers for the 8 series so that users can play the game with acceptable frame rates..

yeah sorry for that, should have changed the word midrange to mainstream..
9600GT is expected to have half the SP of current 8800GT, so i guess it wont render Crysis as pretty as we would like..

not everyone is rich, that's why..

wait for the 9 series?? me too, once upgrade, then long time no upgrade.. save up money for other things..

2-3K or maybe a little bit more i think is enough to build a rig to play Crysis for mid-high settings..
