If got timber flooring, still need skirting to hide the expansion gaps at the corners. The same goes for marble and tiles. t3n and timpossible89 liked this post

Personally, I don't like skirtings be it marble, timber or PVC. Too fugly.
I rather use a edge cutter to trim the timber flooring nicely and straight and fill the edges with silicone. Gaps under 10mm evenly. Unfortunately, many contractors don't have such tool to do the job. They mostly used traditional tools. |

Anyone know contractor can help me with floor skirtings? My home doesn't have one and now it looks so dirty because of mopping. Most contractor i find doesnt do floor skirting only. They want take jobs changing floor + skirtings.
