Light Saber screen is actually Samseng's fault. They manufactured the LED screens. But it is OnePlus' responsibility to honor the warranty.

I'm heading to DirectD Mega around 11AM, hopefully smooth. Didn't receive any notification from them, and order page says "Processing".

Anyone here paid using EZpay installment with DirectD?

Apparently the 1 year extended warranty and screen protection is provided by DirectD since I purchased from them. I thought it would be by OnePlus themselves...

I collected mine too but did not realised the invoice did not stated about the 1 year extended warranty and 1 year screen protection until I see your post

I asked them about it then only they remarked in the invoice but I believe it should be by OnePlus Malaysia not DirectD...tbh the staff seemed a bit clueless

The 1 Year Extended warranty program is definitely by Oneplus itself while the screen protection warranty would be fullfiled by a third party insurance cover. Whatever it is I would not be worried as these warranties are provided by Oneplus themselves.

The extended warranty and screen protection plan isn't reflected for my IMEI, worried they won't fulfill it next time...

You can ask them for the screen protection coverage certificate later on after they have invoiced your order.

How would OnePlus recognize my phone as eligible for the extended warranty?
