Can we use google map in normal alphabet or do we need to translate the writing in Thai first if we want to search for a place? Sorry, never been to Thailand by my own.

QUOTE(ajaibman @ Jan 29 2023, 03:15 PM) Reached there around 6.15 hoping that you guys were still there. I didn't see any Dominar (jaycee1) around nor a group of 2-4 dudes sitting in a group so I assumed you guys had left. Please arrange another round of TT. QUOTE(wat de....?! @ Jan 30 2023, 01:39 PM) Hahaha... No wonder.QUOTE(jaycee1 @ Jan 30 2023, 01:59 PM) LOL. I got tyre puncture in Kampar. Want to inform I was late but I dunno you guys' number. Tried to log in LYN using HP also can't remember password. Should have reached Hartamas if no such incident happened.Punctuality is one of the virtues of riding groups for obvious reasons. Without punctuality, all riding groups will fail. Good time management is necessary for group trips as everything is planned ahead of time. Hope next TT people will be more punctual..if not at least let the organizer know ahead of time that you would be late or can't join in. I only know you ride a Dominar as this has been numerously highlighted here by you. |

QUOTE(jaycee1 @ Jan 30 2023, 03:23 PM) Woaaa ....No shit. You came from north?? Managed to contact the mobile tyre puncture guy after asking around at the nearby petrol station. So you fixed the flat yourself? We were wondering what happened to you. I ride up north yesterday from Pandan. Since it is quite near Duta, might as well meet up with you guys. But shit happened... Was just trying my luck and see if you guys would stay late... |

QUOTE(jaycee1 @ Jan 30 2023, 11:05 PM) Glad you made it back safety. Nope. After this I will. Lesson learnt. You don't carry a tyre repair kit and pump when you travel? Those are an always carry for me when I go basically anywhere outside city limits....along with tools for basic repair and possibly some spare parts and a first aid kit. BTW, where can I buy a good tyre puncture repair kit? Is Mr. DIY's cacing and repair kit good enough? |

QUOTE(ajaibman @ Jun 19 2023, 02:30 PM) Extension 101 MY (your own insurance) To cover your vehicle damage while the accident happened in Kingdom of Thailand not exceeding 100k MYR. I've been informed that the hospitalization and medical fee is damn expensive there. No subsidy by the Thai government.Compulsory TH Insurance = To cover Thai Citizen body injuries/harm caused by the accident. Voluntary TH Insurance = To cover Thai Citizen/Government properties (Car/Bike, divider, Light poles and such) Personal Travel insurance = To cover your own Body injuries/death due to the accident happen in Thailand. Note: Buy from a reputable insurance agent in Malaysia, get their phone number in case of emergency, a trusted agent will help you in case of accident. You want to skip not buying all those 4 also can. Touch wood, if anything happen with you and your bike in Thailand you on your own. |
