Story is like this~
i was riding a motorcycle and suddendly a car come out and bump me...
my Left side Clavicle was break
and my Right side Phalanges 2x got crack after Xray

after operation the doctor put a L bracket to fix back my Clavicle
doctor say the L bracket will be inside my body forever.
now i feel like i cannot lifting heavy thing above my head position.

my expenses in medical card was 20k like that

my lawyer say all max can be claim is just a 48k

the car insurance company just offer me a
rm8000 then i reject... this is the 1st offer!
the my lawyer say will meet then chit chat again.

2nd offer there say can give me a 30k, my lawyer say is reasonble
then i reject again
since my job was need to lift heavy thing,
as a factory worker,
now all these heavy thing, i only can ask my workmate to help lifting.
i was a bit sad this accident was happen to me.

i was told my lawyer u say max is 48k.
then the 3rd offer was 45k, lawyer say is reasonble...
i was not so trust to my own lawyer...

actually i also not sure how much, can i claim from the car insurance company.

just wanna ask anyone got this experince b4, actually what is the amount.

should i ask my lawyer to fight at the court ? or just accept if there offer me 48k,
for suffer for my whole life.
i just 37 years old.

my life is stable i dont need urgent money...
for the case 1 to 2 years i still can wait

Well how are you going to justify the costs?

You can't just pull a random figure from the sky

get surat from employer say you cannot work, have to deduct salary, then can claim salary until 55.

if you not like this lawyer find a better one.

Can claim. BUT doesnt mean will get.

i think i decide to fight at court see how far it can go.

ask any adjuster ur injured then know roughly how much can claim. justify that u cant work normally and might get sack off in future.

u need to prove u lose income because of this.

Then how much you expect?

If your legal fees is 'free', meaning the lawyer will deduct his fees and 'other costs'' from the compensation received.

Some can be very high % if the claim is small. At the end, the injured received peanuts.

So is not normally the insurance fault that offer low compensation. The lawyer didnt tell much.

Even going to court, if injured cannot pay legal and court fees first, the lawyer will also deduct his cost from the court award. Going to court is not cheap. Injured may receive much less than out of court settlement.

It is always adviseable to buy some insurance for self protection. If cannot afford life or medical, a minimum have to be PA.

My lawyer told me that there is a guideline from court that how much to compensate depends on which part you get injured.

My relative was involved into a car accident, and injured his spine and hand. Court ordered compensation 100k, and lawyer took 30%.

Just go on court and fight for more lo since your futures are compromised from that accident.

I wasn't sure since I don't approach to other lawyer. Those lawyer got connection with doctors or police officer. They will introduce lawyer to you if you involved in serious accident.

Sone can go as high 40 to 50% depending on cases and time to settle.

Yeah, the more they attend to court, they will take more.

besides from tat insurance, u can claim socso 1 off payment
