QUOTE(t3chn0m4nc3r @ Oct 14 2007, 02:48 AM) 24hours...? who would do tat...? Dell...? not all are smart buyers u know... Yup, Dell's service is door-to-door, 24 hours. Heh heh, not 24 hours a day but guaranteed service after 24 hours of fault-report. Their engineer will service your equipment at the address as in the invoice.

I vote 1 Year Warranty, Normal PriceI prefer one year warranty with normal price because one of my friend he bought a 160GB WD hardisk. He uses it around six months, he found that the hardisk damaged. So he tooks the hardisk to warranty. The supplier returns the hardisk to my friend after eight months and the warranty for the hardisk only left six months....... A WD product suppose has three years warranty but my friend only has 6+8+6 = 20months warranty.

Like some hard disks in bulk order, usually they give only 3 months warranty but price is cheaper alot. I'll go for this as well, only HARD DISKS of course.

Some manufacturer lower the price but decrease the waranty coz want to minimize RMA.Well, most of us is tight on budget. For me,1 year warranty is good enough.extra is a bonus.

There are no options for me to vote. I take the best price/performance (include brand reputation, reliability etc), but I don't care about the warranty. If it broke I just buy a new one, simple as that. RMA process is a pain in the a$$, always hate it

i vote for 2-5 Years Warranty, Upper Normal Price (ex. Linksys, acbel, sandisk
but this is good too
Lifetime Warranty, Higher Price. (ex. Belkin, Kingston,
i think most customer is ok spending extra as long the quality is good

Of coz Price > Quality > warrenty .. First seeking the price suit with budget, next suvway and compare quality with the same price, finally warrenty. I believe its the way for smart buyer
