Anyone knows? I have both installed. Is OCTO going to replace the old CIMB Click app? Now both is still working.

CIMB OCTO App is a new mobile banking app that is designed to deliver an enhanced and personalised banking experience, while addressing the feedback we have gathered from customers.

CIMB OCTO App is an early version and for now has most of the commonly used functions, which we encourage you to use and experience. We will continue to add on more features over time.

Please note that the CIMB Clicks App will continue to be available.

Does the CIMB OCTO App replace the CIMB Clicks App?

This is an additional App and does not replace CIMB Clicks App. For now, we advise you to have both Apps on your device:

□ to approve your CIMB Clicks Web transactions using SecureTAC.

Will it replace cimb click App in the future?
My guess is when this new octo apps can have similar features of the current click apps and more.
Most probably will be replacing it, else why would they spend so much money developing the new one.

With mandatory install of CIMB app for secureTAC starting 20th May 2023, im confuse with which to install now.

CIMB Octo support secureTAC now already or not? Their website some pages stated can, some pages stated still need Clicks for that.

Been using Octo exclusively for few months and no problem.
Have three id for cimb clicks already and really confuse with their system.
1st one created with my credit card ( no saving account that time ) and after that open one saving account with them but unable to use the existing cimbclicks to transfer due to account created with credit card credential.
2nd id created with debit card so i can do transfer online and make payment
One day my debit card expired whenever login it will prompt enter new debit card number and pin , which i did when i renew my debit card but it will keep popping up error and card information mismatch. So proceed to register for the 3rd id 🤮.
So now totally have 3 id with them and i think its the only bank can let user to register so many id with different products lol

If already have CIMB Clicks apps..
Still can register Octo apps?

Is it when request secureTAC no sound notification? Cos mine only has notification on screen but no sound.

Tried cardless withdrawal once with Maybank...don't see any purpose. Just withdraw with card faster.

I don't use it much too but that's because min rm50.. and then have to go like RM100.. rm150..

Rm20 cannot withdraw. Same with Rm60 or Rm80

Now not sure lah

Then another thing is.. stand by ATM to do scan and when my turn comes, it says cardless withdrawal is temporary unavailable

lowyat101 normally, other banks like MBB will limit the old app, force ppl to use the new app. Maybank2U app cannot validate trx, forced to install MAE

i don't know why sotong hasn't done something similar to move ppl away

Whenever you login into the Clicks apps... Got pop up saying please install Octo apps for more features... It's won't go away if you don't click it... Need to click & then cancel it...

cannot transfer out or buy ASM units.... keep getting errors

late night only okay...

I prefer the new and neat interface of OCTO app.
