Just to chime in since V15 was mentioned. I would not recommend it. The gearing is catered for the indian market and hence it would struggle to hold speed at 80kmh or higher. Add to the fact that TS wants to ride highway, i would not recommend it. Its just too slow for highway use. Ronda-ronda around taman or on the back roads V15 is ok.

Good luck TS.. 5.5k your choices are much but hopefully u can find something 👍

Anything from the Indian market is geared too low for us. That's what they want for the local market. Top speed is not important for them.

My dominar is stupidly low geared as well. Need to sprocket it down 3 teeth for it to be ridable highway. If not, 130kph is a vibration fest@7500rpm.

Thank you for the feedback. Ya I don't think I'll be eyeing for v15. Actually might also consider to lessen the vibration on D7.

Earlier comments were to recommend me to have rubber grips and wearing gloves. Does it also help if I get a steering damper ? Slack of D7 is the tires damn big and can only go 80 max lol.

Heat wise, is it normal for naked bike or is it because it's old bike..

Steering damper doesn't damp vibrations.

What you can do is try fitting heavier bar ends, softer grips and wear padded gloves.. That's the extent you can do on a kapchai. On a bigger bike with a handlebar, you can fit bar risers with vibration dampeners. Basically some rubber or silicon O rings or washers.

If you are stuck with a single, vibration will be a thing. The bigger the engine, the stronger the vibration. It's just what it is.

As for heat, try riding a big engined KTM or Harley and you will know what heat is. Small singles just dont produce a lot of heat to begin with.
