I never ride superbike before. Planning to get a 500 or 600 cc bike.

Have shortlisted Benelli 502c or Suzuki V strom 650

need it for highway riding 400km average. I wonder which one more comfortable? Also if u have better idea kindly recommend thanks

Those are not superbikes, more like naked motorcycles.

I'd prefer the SV, but the 502 is probably more comfortable, and would depend on the ergonomics to you.

For beginner, you probably need a few more stops to hydrate and rest your arms and legs anyway.

Interesting that u said that 502 is more comfortable. 502 is a cruiser while SV is made for touring long distance.

Touring long distance? You mean SV650 or V-strom?

Get a license first.
Then go for a test ride.

I feel that the vstrom is lighter than the benelli trk502.
But both look hideous (to me). I'd rather get the Honda cb500x or the ktm 390 adventure

The vstrom is lighter than the 502. Not sure how benelli managed to make the trk that heavy. If Chinese bikes are not out of your shopping list, can consider the CFmoto MT650.

Vstrom looks better, better engine. Bulletproof.

Don't go for the 390 ADV. Unless you are 5'10 you will find the 850mm seat height difficult. The single cyc will buzz your nuts off. Just buy a Dominar and save 70% if the only off road you will ever do is light gravel. Then get something bigger later after some seat time.

Can't go wrong with the CB500x. Prefect bike if you are content to have a bike that won't rip your arms off.

Again, all these ADVs, including the small cb500x, have seat height from 830mm. So unless you are 5'8 and above, it's going to be a tiptoe fest.

Curiously I've been on the highway with both the 390adv and the dominar. The Dominar is actually more stable at speed...less affected by wake from lorries and crosswind.

Sat on 500X in the showroom, really fit my 182cm height and has the touring character I like.

I would have order it if not for my fetish and dedication to go automatic.

The dominar is heavier and has lower height compared to 390adv.

193kg VS 177kg. And it rides on the smaller 17" wheel.
That should be beneficial for the dominar at highway speed.

I was really really hoping the transalp 750 would come with DCT.
But too bad.

What are you currently riding? Xadv? Don't tell me African twin?

Me just got my MLC (mid life crisis) motor lesen summore full B, got myself an ADV150 in Nov 2021 as first bike to rough it out and gain riding experience.

Booked a Forza 250 in April 2022, but no stock and still waiting for it.

Hearsay ADV350 will come in Mar/Apr 2023, so I told salesman to hold my booking even if there is Forza arriving for me until Mar/Apr and see.

I am into more under seat storage space.

XADV storage is small, African Twin is not my cup of tea and need to add box.

Gold Wing is simply too large.

Actually, ADV150 size is just right for what I want.

I might regret the larger chonkier Forza or ADV350 but will see how it goes after riding one.

The Dominar also has a 1inch longer wheelbase compared to the 390adv.

Curiously, there isn't that much difference in top end, with both doing 165 despite the 8hp deficit. I think the 390adv has to punch a much bigger hole through the air.

Honda is probably gonna detune it to adv250
And slap an rm30k+ pricetag on it.

With an 180+cm height you'll be at home in some of the taller adventure bikes.
Try one with >80hp and you'll be addicted to the power. Nothing better than the feeling of power in between your legs

The most fun you can have with your pants on

Does the 390adv rattle much at 120?

I'm really looking at adding another smaller lightweight adv to my garage
