I'm new to posting here but have been reading about the Gundam stuff...
Just started to buy my own MGs recently and got a very very bad experience with this shop in Penang...

Shop: Gamemate
Location: Peranggin Mall, Penang (3rd Floor)

1st thing was that the prices were scary... i asked so my shops and their Freedom Full Burst was at an average RM250... but this shop wanted to sell me at RM280 (member price)...

so because it was so expensive i asked if i could buy some weathering markers... and he asked me what i wanted to use them for...
me: i want to try weather my models
owner: did you paint already or not?
me: not yet but i plan to paint
owner: you have airbrush?
me: no, i use brush and i plan to try on my SD models
owner: like that you can use pencils to shade them

then he suddenly change his tone and...

owner: sorry but i can't teach you these stuff... if you want me to share my knowledge you will have to buy from me 1st

WTF?!?!? i didn't even want any advice... i just wanted to buy the friggin weather markers....

then he proceeded to tell me that he hope we can 'kau kuan' him... and he will be able to share his knowledge plus extra services like let us see the magazines in his shop (which to him... costs RM80 per copy)...

then when i stated that it was much much more expensive... the owner decided to explain to me that it was to cover their cost... he even went as far as to tell my friend in mandarin that part of the cost covers the electricity and aircon that we're using because we're in the shop...

even when my friend asked for the price of the Cross Bone Gundam... the owner's wife (or assistant) said 16x.... when my friend asked how much exactly her reply was... "if you really want to buy then i'll tell you the exact price... not before that"

FUIO!!!! this shop hor... damn onz... i know i won't be going back there EVER again... just a heads of to all PG Gundam kit fans...

O.M.G I soon moving back to penang next month deng how on earth penang modeling shop so kua lan 1 -,- tis time calling JASON or ICUTE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for buying things now^<^

so far my friends and i go over to this other shop... i could pass you the details if you want...

i mean if expensive nvm... like there are a few more shops which are slightly more expensive (but not till RM30 markup from what others are already earning)... but atleast they not so lansi as to tell you that they have to mark up because of all the overheads like the electricity for lights and aircon that you're using just because you're in their shop browsing...

i can accept the idea that these ppl want to earn... but that was rude as hell... and a total ripoff...

hm, moving back to penang ar... easy, save money now, open ur own shop, a small shop shud be enuf
soon there'll be a "Great" hobby shop in penang! (nice dream )

hm.....vince u buying the exia 1/60 ma?
normally u're da 1 tat buy fresh-out-of-production gunpla to review it here for us

I had similar experience with that shop. Damn kao lansi that owner!

the owner keep showing off what he can do to his gundam, and how he can repair your gundam if you happen to mess it up. (He said he is the only one in malaysia that can repair a broken parts without using glue) pui!!


No doubt he had the most complete stock of MG gundam model in his shop but the price...

probably thats the reason y his stock is so complete.. Coz nobody freaking buy them!!!!

I googled it and all i find are pictures of a white gundam...

Some review something about transformation... what does it transform into? (something like the Saviour?)

maybe gua...dunno yet...see how nice izzit first...
cause right now i more care about getting full burst destiny...it has a different paint coating from the normal version for its inner frame...

about all these complaint..i think that is enough already...
remember here still a gundam thread and not a shop complaint thread

Open a shop will need a lot a lot of money man! NOt easy! And u think the LittTak will let ur take a lot stock on Credit meh if u just new open shop!
Online store maybe can loh!

this one need register! I think u can tried the bandai official website since they take it from there!

I am more interested in the baddies mecha! The Custom Flag looks way more cooler than the normal flag not to mention more bulky!
The mechwarrior like Zaku also very nice! May get the 1/144 or 1/100 if they release it!

yup, agreed, i love the Custom Flag and the mechwarrior - Tieren... HG Tieren coming soon next month (November)... 1200 Yen...

The reason you keep on finding a white Gundam is because it is nearly all white, specially in it normal mode, it totally white, then when it change to NT mode, it got few glowing red part showing, but there still plenty of white.

Ya, but I guess that come for being in a MG line. cant compare MG and NG. But Destiny is still not in my list, instead, another more special MS, is in my list, lol.
