which is better?

HG 1/144? or NG 1/100?

any other aspect different besides size and price?

how the details differs? the NG 1/100 got better details?

[attachmentid=360658]

i wanted to get this exia, but not too sure which to go for...

For Exia (for instance), if u want to choose between 1/144 n 1/100, go for 1/100, coz got better details and articulations. For ur question about comparison betwen HG 1/144 n 1/100 NG, actually that depends on how old the kit are. For instance, if u compare HG 1/144 Gundam Seed kit and its NG 1/100 counterparts, you will find that the 1/100 version is better in terms of details and articulation. But if you compare recent HG 1/144 kit with NG 1/100 Gundam Seed kit, the recent HG 1/144 will have better articulation. In short, if for one mecha there are two model kit produced (1/100 n 1/144), go for 1/100.
About the difference in details, 1/100 is bigger, so more parts can be molded separately, which leads to lesser need to paint the kit.

instead of 1/100 if u wan better detail why dont get 1/60
anyway 1/60 BTS got... TM there got sell... that day I went with sinoffire than saw the 1/60 exia
wanter to buy that one but if buy that one oni can get 1 T.T
so instead i go for 2 HG that I aiming for...

1/60 eat alot of space maa. But if there are stand maybe the problem will be reduced a bit. Why Bandai didn't produce stands for 1/60 kit oso? If I recall, only PG Strike Rouge, PG Skygrasper (n subsequently PG Strike if u buy both) and 1/60 STrike Freedom got stand included

5000yen = rm 150 ++ but malaysia i think rm 220++ goreng price for sure

Shouldn't be lah. Normal MG SF(4800 yen) when they first come (at XL Shop, which gunpla price there usually more expensive than other local toy shop) is priced at RM 185 if i'm not mistaken. MG Unicorn shouldn't exceed RM 200 (since it's only 200yen, about RM 8 difference only). If some shop sells them at price exceeding RM 200, don't buy from that shop la.

aiks.. 1/100 only 18cm tall?
i tot is much bigger size..

so jhcj's 1/66, how tall izzit?

i'm going to buy one for my own x-mas gift  sweat.gif

Gunpla kits is a scale model after all, so they are based on the actual height of the mecha they are modeled after. Exia height is about 18m, so 18m divide by 100 (1/100) is 18 cm. For 1/60, you just divide 18m with 60, which will get you 30cm

But Psycho Gundam and Alpha Azieru is bigger in size (Psycho Gundam is as big as 1/60). Alpha Azieru got diorama, and prepainted (only need to do the panel lines).

Hmm, now have to wait for Alteisen's price to go down a bit first (Psycho is RM 165, Alpha Azieru is RM 170)
