Actually, it is more to trust. Since you are new to LYN, there are some people are still not confident with you.
Your present must be well known.. Try contribute more on the area that you are familar with... The more exposure, the more people will know you directly or indirectly.

1. Give a lot of contributions, not by giving money, but giving ideas, good post, no spams.
2. Do a lot of COD deals and gain some sucessful trades through COD, then build your sucessful tradelist.
3. Don't do bullshits.

Well, ofcourse you will need sometime to build up your reputation before doing some serious business. Get well known and make people trust you in your words. smile.gif

thats the best way.. too many BS around nowadays.. and of course, to TS, don't promise people when u cant do it.. only promise them when u can actually make it happen.. one bad mistake can ruin the whole "trust" thing..

plus of course, friendliness.. maybe proper english might help, but not the "wanna-be english pro" like tht coz u may give ur customers the impression that they're eng is not as good..

actually the whole idea is to make ur customers feel comfortable with u..

profits will really boost up once u have their trust.. n the only way to get there is erm... more on customer service as it covers the whole load..

For beginner, You might need to do more COD. And buyers will left some good words in ur sales thread. Anyway, i had seen some bulk sales no need to COD just poslaju their stuff. Of cuz, they had been quite active in specific subforum.

To be honest, i only buy from those who had long record listing by POS LAJU.

Do using proper english in your sales thread. Ppl might having false impression you are ah beng or ah seng category. Poor English in a sales could affect the trusty from forumers.

I do believe the post count is IMPORTANT in our forum. But neva take it as a whole concept in our forum.
If you started with COD, most of the thing should be fine.

We got senior forumers had bad records too. Newbie or Junior members is not the only priority.

Please try to answer most of the question by buyers. We could be fussy people but you are responsible to service us. Anyway, you got the right to reject trading with anyone you don't feel comfortable as well.

Lastly, dun scold, argue, slap on your "potential buyers" even though some of them like to post crap in your sales thread. (Here Ppl might actually testing your attitude & respond to see how friendly you are.)

Some of the buyers dun take serious responsible 'after sales service'. Before sales is full of passion to their customers. Please take care of this part fully.

Forum is full of emotional type of people actually quite nice in the real world.

Good luck man~!

you can always opt to have the item insured.
that means extra charges during postage

if u personally dun feel comfortable in dealing ur expensive / valueable items via courier, then don't proceed....my advice to buyer or seller biggrin.gif

only deal via courier with stuffs and person that u're comfortable and trustable with smile.gif

1st : try to opt for COD, find buyers / sellers that sell / purchase the good nearby
2nd : try courier only as 2nd alternative if 1st choice does'nt met smile.gif

Well, selling camera??? cool, as long as you can provide reasonable price, provide good service, maybe the 1st few times. try to do COD to gain confident from buyer.... then i think u can slowly do postage...
