7cc difference, also its a Honda so price gap is expected.

Prices are also slightly higher in home country, not sure how they're getting Varios though considering Honda only lists the PCX and ADV 160 in Japan for sale.

I like walkthrough scooter, unfortunately not popular in Msia.

Vespa is a little small for my size, if not I would have gotten myself the GTS300.

Big walk through scooters only left SYM Jetx200... sad.

Good luck getting people to buy 125cc cub at 11-15k. Essentially it just becomes a lifestyle bike.

At that price you're looking at 155-200cc full frame bikes.

You certainly don't see Honda Grom/MSX or Kawasaki 125 bikes rolling around frequently

NMax dont have ABS, Vario 160 got single channel ABS

RM 2 vs RM30, still considered cheap as I'm used to driving

ADV160 came standard with HSTC (traction control for the rear wheel). No other 2 wheels below RM20k has it. Next scooter that has it is XMax250 and Forza250.

Indon and Thai version of NMAX version have the TCS but as usual HLYM cut it off for Local Market...

Yes, definitely need it for better safety… irrespective of horsepower.

For the ADV 160, I wish Boon Siew just stuck to base colors without heavy use of stickers, tbh.

The Indonesian ones look much more elegant and since this is a scooter for those who are berjiwa santai regardless of age, I think it's better to have that more mature look to it. With the Indonesian colors, it is also easier to see the difference in the body panels between the 150 and 160.

Just now, stop by at Honda Impian outlet, sat on ADV 160. Slightly larger under seat storage space. Feels like sitting on a PCX. Dang the sticker - ugly. Should keep it clean. let the buyer customised to their liking.

Just got my ADV160, sold my ADV150 to a friend.

No waiting, <RM14k cash but had to go pick up and ride back some 150km away

Sepang one you ask them, cash need to queue 100+ number... short of them say loan you dapat first lah.. usual practice by these shops

Y they don't want cash?

Loan sales give them more margin.
Example:
ADV160 list price before on-the-road is RM12,999
Shop should just add fees to register the bike, insurance and roadtax.
That should be around RM12,600 to get the bike on the road, paying cash.

For loan sales, they jack it up to around RM14500 before applying load interest.
That's a cool RM2k or more depends on shop, to make more money.

Shop make more money also translate to higher commission for sales staff.

Don't believe me? you go around bike shop simply ask how much is the instalment plan.. don't mention you want to buy cash.

Yeah common practice. That's why everyone and their mom and dad wants to open motorcycle dealer shop cause of amount of people buying motorcycles.
