it is fine if the rear tyres thread thickness is close to the front, then install new tyres at front can accelerate the front tyre wear to match with the rear tyres thread, but to say install new tyres at front because you are driving front wheel drive car is plain wrong, it doesn't matter which kind of drivetrain, tyres with more grip is recommended be always at rear, unless you are driving the car for gymkhana or autocross then you will see many of them go for reverse staggered setup for front wheel drive car
as for which tyres workshop, i usually go to T-align in bandar sunway, clean place, new alignment machine, and allow me to custom my alignment settings until the screen showing red color measurement also no problem, if they ever ask why i will tell them i use my car for track and gymkhana
