I use an adsl gateway (modem+router) connected to my pc and to the xbox separately. Both pc and xbox have static ip and ports forwarded for whatever. If you forward your ports properly, you'll have open NAT. I have no problems playing games with gamers from Japan, Indonesia, HK, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia or even US. Of course, to do this gotta stop all connections on the pc. Halo 3 seems to work great with gamers from anywhere. GoW though, is a little picky. Some games are lagged to hell with users from US,etc. |
