just leave them in the food bowl. when he finds out that mealworms are edible he'll gobble them up in no time.

there are exceptions though, some hedgehogs just don't like mealworms. just like us humans, some of us don't eat junk food.wink.gif

and like junk food, don't offer mealworms to him everyday, twice a week is quite enough. i'm sure your mom nags you about eating twisties everyday...smile.gif

if you're from sunway, you can get the cage at pets lovers centre in sunway pyramid.

if you're the economical type like some of us, you can get the huge toyogo boxes from carrefour, giant, tesco, etc to house your hedgehog.smile.gif

ic , how is the price like ? I'll go for shop today .. hooray , new home for my new baby

if you're getting the decent cage from petstores, i'm sure the price is above 100.

the toyogo boxes some of us use are usually within the range 30-40. get the biggest one available if you're getting a toyogo box. they need space, and are pretty sneaky climbers too.

oh.... seems ur Demon is really have car sickness....
well yeah... same with u.. I mean... I dun really like to bring out hedgie thou..
esp. when the place is quiet.. he can easily stressed out @.@

so.... until now and until new page added in... where should we have our TT session? lol

stressed when the place is quiet? funny, cuz mine only comes out to play when it's quiet. if there's any noise or people walking around, he'll be back into the hidebox.

anyway, i've finally figured out the reason why my hedgehog 'throws' the kibbles all over the place. apparently everynight he'll try to climb up to the top of the hidebox, but because he's not tall enough he steps onto the food bowl and tries frantically, thus kicking the kibbles all over the place. my mistake for putting the food bowl too close to the hidebox.wink.gif

i watched him do that last night. still failed to climb up, and in the process tumbled down and rolled over, it was so darn funny. tongue.gif my girlfriend laughed like mad when she saw that happen. also, i removed his wheel last night, so when he came out for his routine run-about, he looked so dumbfounded when he saw that the wheel's missing. kept looking left and right as if he's searching for the wheel. in the end i put the wheel back in and he immediately climbed up and sprinted for some time before getting some sleep again.

TT updates?

livingmonolith, u have to come...!!! haha...
*
haha, unfortunately i will be unavailable for both days. i'll be working OT these two days, will be dead tired to go anywhere, plan to sleep all day like my hedgehogs on sunday.smile.gif

btw, the hedgehog i got from you sure eats a lot, she practically finishes everything in her bowl in 30 mins! wink.gif hahaha, anyway just to let you know she's getting friendlier these couple of days, allowed me to hold it up but i'm a bit afraid to let her run outside her cage because she's super fast, i took her bowls to wash and she went missing in the living room. took me quite some time to look for her, hahaha...

too bad she doesn't know what's a wheel for. last nigth she went into the wheel and left a big mess, then climbed back down. sweat.gif
