Anyone working in Accenture Technology. Do you know the range for increment or promotion.

Congrats if you got hired. They only take in elites.

Heard from friends that salary always pay late & sometimes epf+socso forgot to pay to the appropriate party but can see deduction in payslip.

Less focus on increment and promotion but rather what can you achieve there and how it can be a springboard for your future career.

yes and no. Accenture was one of the vendors that I was working with in my previous company

some of the developers are truly the best, but some of them are the worst as well. I think if the talent is from our own country, then they are okay. some talents who are from India are the worst. When they speak, can barely understand. Got the job done but with a lot of delay and poor code base.

from what I understood from a few of my friends, there could be no "definite" range for increment yearly and promotion

some year they get like rm100 for yearly increment (so, not even 1% or 2% of their salary), some years got double or triple that (more than 5%)

as for promotion, it is another headache as well. one who is promoted in one cycle could get way less/more than the one who is promoted in another cycle (if they are on the same level)

u probably didn't know outsourcing is the way most of these companies work...

using the the big name...get deals....and hire resources....after gone....u gone.

I always heard Accenture is bad. But how about Avanade? A joint venture between Accenture and Microsoft..

Yeah, some even reported sexual advancement for better “work performance rating”. If got assigned to a project with such environment, try to ask for change of project or else resigning is the last step.


Essentially within Avanade not too bad. Sometimes they’ll work with Acn folks and Acn folks would have the tendency to look down on avanade folks lol.

Yup you got that right. A bunch of Acn veterans ran to maxis or aws. Spreading those bad cultures there as well. I guess most prominent is maxis now, they have been a shit network these days

Sexual advancement means what ? Need to sleep around with senior directors, managers to get promoted ? Is this a norm ?
