but i belive im much luckier than u coz last time,there is one CC at my place, suddenly the cdrom tray cover crack and flew juz right by my face!!!the speed of that debris so overwhelming!!!so lucky it didnt hit my eye!! mad.gif

kinda shocked and relieve at the same time... shocking.gif

an advise to all...be careful when ur rig positioned same height wif ur face..it might blow soon a later laugh.gif

Look under ur laser unit. There r 2 pots(plastic thing with screw head) there. U can use them to recalibrate the lens so it reads better. Over time it goes off so u need to tune it back.  U can test this by playing DVD movies. When ur DVD is skipping, it shows it's time to retune it. What u then need is 1 original DVD as a base. Dont use pirated DVDs for tuning coz the quality is so bad. If u tune it to read a pirated disk properly it may not read the other discs. Tune it to read an original copy n it shud be good for all discs after that.

wow.. if me.. imposible to open it and repair and juz throw it to the rubbish bin.. learnt a lesson from u..nice.. try to repair be4 throw anything tht spoilt..
