The second LYN Zoiders Gathering. SUCCESS!

THROUGH ZOIDS FRIENDSHIP WILL COME!

Optional: Bring your favorite Built/unbuilt zoids/custom/SRDX whatever that is related to zoids.
Motive: Share you experiences with others. You'll never know how small bits of information can be a big help to others.

iii) What's installed for us in 2008?
iv) TRADE/SALE (bring money please).
v) Group photo!

Note: doesn't matter if you're a newbie or not, zoids gathering isn't about that. It's more like "Through Zoids Friendship Will Come."

I have a Mad Thunder, which is still in packing. Not assembled yet. No time yet.

Speaking of which, who actually paint their Zoids? I have one nicely painted using spray paint.

Damn! Someone actually have King Gojulas? I heard it is very hard to get and is in limited quantities! Wish i have one.....

true, KG is rare and hard to get, not mentioning their sky-high price. :s

Ahtiven sure thing if u want to snap a pic with my King G for remembrance. I'll let you know when, once i custom make his home so i can bring it around in it. Dusty laying it around unsheltered.

King G is a hard fought Zoids in the realm on auction sites. First you need unlimited $$$$.$$ to bid and the timing is CRUCIAL in order to win. Usually is at the end of the closing time. Sometimes you have to stay up wee hours in the morning to bid against people. Else you can pay someone to bid for you.

I was lucky to have one 1980's classic! Serious collector should have one, the roar is so loud it give you goose bumps.

Gilvader is the most beautiful evil Zoids ever made by Tomy.

ive been lurking around ebay and YJA everyalready... no gilvader in sight. I might wanna go for it once i see it. depends on its reserve price if any. My budget will not be more then RM1800 on Built.

Would make a good collection together with my King G.

Anyway here's the latest news on the new zoids and some reissues.

I preordered my HMM Shield Liger and Genosaurer already.

wah today i went to Jusco and TRU - no ZOIDS! wahh..........

it was like that since weeks/months ago.

your best bet is litt tak. but very limited choices.

I was at litt tak 2 days ago.. They have loads of soul tigers and some other smaller zoids. nothing much. next warehouse sale is in dec

few months back i didn't visit Jusco / TRU.

OTOH the shop at LYP still have some decent zoids like proto gojulas giga and a few others, parkson had only a few units like soul tiger and elephander i think.

now it's like total extinction.

LT Sungai Wang 6th floor still has some Zoids
but the price ain't cheap

i'm interested in hayate liger =) got any news bout it? i only saw the lance stalk

Is it confirmed that LT will have warehouse sale this DEC? They did one in June 07 already. I don't have high hopes they will have anything nice there especially for Hardcore zoids collectors.

Ahtiven is right, departmental and TRU zoids are all long gone. mass extinction and the best place to get them now is in the heart of KL.

anyway got 2 type of EL one is fuzor and one is NJR. But fuzor now easy to find. Fuzor color different from NJR.

the 2 blox that combine with EL is the storm brothers.

how to diffrentiate them????

you can get it at RM 69.90 at Fantasy Toys, Low Yat 1st Floor
beware of some scalpers who tried to checked the popularity of it
and then go sapu the stock & scalp it

Yes thats true...but its hard to repaint compared to Gundam.

1 thing i dont like about zoids is the stickers. I find the stickers too thick compared to other model kits. Hence I never applied my stickers on my zoids.

hmm i think the tomy zoids surface is a bit glossy thats why hard to paint.......but kotobukiya suitable for painting

Tomy Zoids are not meant to be painted anyways. Unless you spend some $$$ on airbrush or good paints for making customs.

hmm airbrush paint can chip off IMHO....

Put it in a display cabinet away from dust or sunlight/heat or oily hands lo. But TOMY's plastic are of quite good quality, so won't be so fast, perhaps after 10 years? And certainly cannot skip if you are gonna collect the tiget bros... Rayse Tiger, Brastle Tiger and Soul Tiger

Kotobukiya's doesn't come with motors, so they can't move like TOMY's... But Kotobukiya's are very posable because they don't have motors. It's a plus or minus depending what you like to do with them

Well, from what i've seen with koto zoids releases, hayate liger is possible. BUT it will take awhile since there will be limited releases for Geno in the future. Maybe red color Geno. Then soon after that will be Geno Breaker.

I said this because, they have done the plastic mould and i'm sure they want to fully utilized it and make the ROI and of cause the profit.

HMM SL BLUE -> HMM Limited Dessert SL -> HMM SL MKII
HMM CW -> HMM Limited Empire CW
HMM Blade Liger -> ? -> ?
HMM Genosaurer -> ? -> ?
