QUOTE(skeith @ Nov 7 2022, 01:27 PM) yo hello, wanna ask something about calories deficits. let say if i eat KFC 3 meals a day. (assume all same same equal quantity) then suddenly i cut to 2 meals of KFC a day (no 3rd meal) will that lose some weight too? Only if your calory burn rate remains the same. Let's say each meal have 1k calories, and you hentam 3 meal so 3k a day, and you burn 2.5k a day, so its a surplus of 500. But you think if you cut one meal, so now you are taking in 2k a day, but you also malas to do anything so your burn down to 1k, you end up having a surplus of 1k rather than losing weight.

QUOTE(skeith @ Nov 7 2022, 01:44 PM) i see. so calories deficit is like a very simple math dont care about macro or anything other shits la. as long as u what u makan - your metabolism burning rate = plus/minus. with that many amount of calories plus/minus will affect your weight up/down after a long time. Yes. Thats why CICO is always being preached. In fact, it will actually lead to a more sustainable diet, coz you basically get to hentam whatever you want janji you pay it back. You wanna eat more ice cream? Run more / workout more. You dunwan to do those? Eat less ice cream. No need to totally cut out ice-cream in favour of brocolli smootie or whatever. Macro calculation is basically so you know how much is needed to maintain, and from there if you wanna gain weight how much more you need to eat, and vice versa.

QUOTE(FLampard @ Nov 8 2022, 10:13 AM) do you agree that there is no relative benefit to walking on treadmill? running on treadmill on the other hand helps protect knee due to better cushioning. walking anywhere is just the same je since low impact exercise You can get a consistent incline if you do walking on threadmill. Some even advocate LIIT over HIIT for better weight loss and less knee impact.
