Yeah, on the older version I drove (around 2018 or 2019 model year) at certain speeds while slowing down the CVT has this weird effect. Best way I can describe it is that you feel your tyres suddenly become egg or oval shaped. A bit disconcerting at first, but you get used to it. a lot of people said, if wanna buy XV, get the manual variant.

I always liked the look of the XV. A simple look, doesn’t try too hard. But the small issues and lack of official service center near my place turned me off.
