Dear Sifu,
Is Toyota Veloz suitable for T20 (Manager level)?
My friend planned to buy New Alza but then feel her colleague will comments a lot so wanted to buy Toyota Veloz. But I feel the both cars suitable to T20 group as well...
Furthermore, the waiting time for New Alza also much more longer than Toyota Veloz now.

Please advice.

If its the looks you're looking, CX-8 is the better choice. Veloz for that group is just meh.

Mazda seems expensive to maintain and price doubled. But it is still affordable if CX-8 I believe

Toyota should put a bigger size engine like 1.6, to better justify the price gap.

But hmmm...TS, these are of budget range. Dont think it carries any images thingy, at least not in my eyes biggrin.gif

Ya, that is the reason my friend asking me. T20 (management level) use Toyota Veloz/New Alza good? Her colleague using Civic FE, Arteon, Toyota Voxy...

My advice is to stop caring about what people think about what you drive

Buy according to your purpose and budget. Done

Besides, what status you want to generate with a veloz or alza??

My friend just want a family car as I told her I already booked an Alza as I don’t need a expensive car for my daily routine use to work. But she feel Veloz seems slightly more better look and quality than the alza

If really want a better ride than Alza,  test drive Corolla Cross.
Btw, manager usually not T20 level ya

Sorry, what do you meant?

Exactly. T20 doesn’t need to ask what to buy since T20 practically knows what they are want, what they can afford and especially what they are capable of. Otherwise they wouldn’t be among T20 would they lol. As many said before “I can afford a bmw but I still drive a kancil” yada yada.

My friend has other investment. But she said peers pressure so only asked me.

I just told her go for Veloz RM20k - 2.5k (if Alza + body kit) = RM 17.5k . She seems also just go for it now as she x want a car that too huge.. blush.gif

I still waiting for my new Alza update from the SA. Seems like no news at all now...

Want small car and peer pressure,
Go for Merz A200
Sure no one dare to say anything
And it is not so expensive,
Also can show your “T20” status devil.gif

Not sure but she told me need to install 2 x baby car seats. So might not so suitable.

The outgoing Toyota Avanza was last priced between RM 77,963 to RM 84,848 and was imported (CBU) from Indonesia. When the all-new Veloz arrives, prices won’t stray too far off the outgoing model’s price, so stay tuned for that.
The all-new Veloz will be locally-assembled (CKD) by ******* Perodua ****, as the all-new Alza will be a sister model to the Veloz.

So special?

Because it is a Toyota. T for T20, T for Toyota?
