Just gotten myself a pair of Forma Adv. boots (high cut) - brown. Worth every sen. Comfortable at the first wear and confidence boosting too! Downside, I getting weird looks when I ride the "kapchai".... who cares! Nightstalker1993, jaycee1, and 1 other liked this post

QUOTE(MobyDick @ Apr 25 2023, 07:06 PM) Started riding again after more than 30yrs and not familiar with biking gears especially the jacket portion; my problem is that I'm over 6ft tall and skinny whereby getting a jacket that fits will be short incl the sleeves while getting one that's long enough will be too large Start going window shopping, no best way to familarise yourself than that. lowpro liked this post

Hi all,
On the lookout for some decent adventure touring pants with hip and knee protector. Need to cover the boots as well. Need not to be waterproof but a bonus if it is. Been checking out Revit, KLIM, Alpinestar etc. but without much success as there are very little reviews especially for hot humid APAC countries. Anyone has any suggestions? Thanks, |

Thanks. My jacket brand does not carry any attachment to any pants. I have a look at Komine and Taichi.
Any models in specific? QUOTE(Kaboku @ Nov 13 2024, 01:49 PM) I have touring pants from Komine and Revit. Tested the slide function on both and safe to report that they held up well. Just got a new pair of touring pants from Komine as well and this has the connector zipper to the jacket to make it sort of one piece. Komine pants comes with knee protector as a std but hip protector depends on the model of the pants. Some comes as a std but some only has foam padding Felt the cut on the Revit are too low. When on the bike feels like I am showing butt crack to the world. Can try RS Taichi as well. |
