Total RM4258. About 10% of my bike value.
At least I feel comfortable and safe.

my bike was only 20k and my gears was more than 50% that value.
my hospital bills on a serious accident was well over 3 times the bike value.

perspectives i guess. lol

my previous shark did not have.

but it isn't a full carbon shell so to speak. only outer layers are carbon fiber, internals are still EPS

Your 3 most important safety gear is helmet, gloves and boots. Those items should be prioritized before getting anything else.
*
i would rate jacket above gloves and boots, with a toss up gloves over jacket only because human tendency to reach out breaking a fall. and most lighter crashes your gloves would protect a lot more than a jacket.

your vital organs are in your chest, and rib cage/spine is kinda important.
however yes, my perspective is obviously from my own experience especially since my massive accident back in 2016

Threw them on 2nd day of CNY and rode to genting.
Felt comfortable doesn't feel like it hinders my riding.

Maybe interms of abrasion resistant not the best.
Hopefully good enough for daily commute from Puchong to Subang Bestari.

So thanks everyone for your input and advice to me newbie rider.

P/S: I will attempt to upgrade for more abrasive resistant and amour in the future.
